me: Al Brown, and published in the Mountain Messenger - (Now The Front
Range Times), at Idaho Springs, Colorado. The articles are not necessarily
listed in the order in which they appeared in print. The original purpose
of the articles was to inform readers who might not have particularly strong
background in the use of the Internet. As such, much of what is contained
in them is generic and will hold little appeal to the "Teckies".
What you will find here are articles on the general workings of the Internet,
general information on Internet Common Sense and Security and a collection
of WebSites that I found interesting and informative or just plain fun.
As these articles appeared over a period of several years, a number of
the links contained in the references in these articles may no longer work.

| PLEASE NOTE: By the very nature of this beast we have all come to know and love, i.e. "The Internet", some items referenced and possibly quoted may no longer exist or be accessible. When I find a link that is broken I may leave the original text and reference intact if I feel that the general information is still helpful or relevant. In most of these cases I have also left the original URL's in the text in which case I have highlighted them with a gray color rather than turning them into an ordinary link. In some case it is still possible to the follow some parts of the URL to the site and possibly pick up relevant information, even though the original information is not available. Regrettably, some great information articles and references that I had found originally are simply not "there" any longer. If you have any ideas where the original data or similar information can be found, Please (Pretty Please), let me know.
